To quote Fugazi‘s Guy Picciotto freely and out of context: “We’ve had so-called protest music for at least 60 years and not a whole lot has changed.” But it’s still nice to get your slogans in a synth-pop sugar coating. Especially when the slogans are, y’know, true.
