“She puts it to me plain as day.”

Bob Dylan & the Band – “Goin’ to Acapulco” from The Basement Tapes (recorded 1967, released 1975)

I had an intense love-affair with this album some time ago.

To me, this is how music should be made: with friends, in a remote and intimate place, with rudimentary recording equipment.

It’s hard to believe that Dylan was only 26 at this point.

Have you heard the cover of this song in the movie “I’m Not There”?

Yeah, it’s pretty faithful (and good).
