Pavement – “Grounded” from Wowee Zowee (1995)

This is my favorite Pavement album. It’s their weirdest and best-sounding. Malkmus’ lyrics are top-notch, as evidenced in this, their most beautiful track off WZ.

I take large breaks from this band but return heavily every year or so.
